Hello world! Welcome to my blog!
I am stay-at home mom who used to practice law. About twelve years ago I decided that enough was enough! I was missing out on my babies everyday and wanted to see more of them! So, I traded my court robe for jeans, flats and an apron…. I can sincerely say I have not woken up one morning ever since, yearning to put on my black suit and high heals to go and pick a legal fight.
In return I got to spend a lot of time with my beautiful children and finally do what I love most: Spending time in the kitchen. I truly become deliriously happy when the smell of a chocolate cake baking, fills my kitchen and house!
I am total foodaholic, who is absolutely obsessed with recipes. You will catch me reading recipe books at anytime of the day or night. I am forever contemplating on what I would cook up next and how to put my own twist on it!
Although I am far from a professional chef I love to make traditional dishes with good and honest ingredients, striving to pack my family’s meals with as much goodness as possible.
I truly love life and all the tastes it has to offer. After all in the end, it’s not the years in your life that count. It’s the life in your years! So, grab your apron, pour your glass of wine, and come and share my journey with me!

Yum! I am so glad I found your blog and look forward to enjoying your recipes that you so kindly share here. So far I am drooling over the sirloin with pomegranate and sweet potatoes, and the firepit dessert of bananas with chocolate and marshmallows. Incredible!

Ahhh, the fact that you used to practice law and gave it up to enjoy your life, your kids and to really pursue your passions speaks to me. I’m still practicing law but find my mind constantly wandering to thoughts of baking and cooking. While I keep my day job and only bake in what little spare time I have, I’ll live vicariously through your blog!
