Heat a skillet over medium heat until warm and add butter.
When the skillet is heated add the pork chops and cook on one side for two minutes without flipping.
Turn the pork chops after two minutes and cook for two minutes on the other side. Turn the meat once more and cook for another minute. Baste the chops with the butter regularly.
Remove the skillet from the heat and add the garlic and sage to it.
Place the skillet into the preheated oven and cook for another two minutes.
Remove from the oven and dish up immediately. Tip the skillet and pour the brown butter over the cooked meat. Serve with smash potatoes and a green salad.
