Mielietert (Sweet corn Bake)

A creamy sweet corn pie that goes very well with your braai.

  • 2 cans 420 g sweet corn
  • 4 extra large eggs
  • 60 ml melted butter
  • 60 ml flour
  • 15 ml baking powder


  • Preheat the oven to 180° C
  • Add all the ingredients to a large mixing bowl and mix with a wooden spoon.
  • Pour the batter into a buttered pie dish and place in the oven.
  • Bake for approximately 1 hour until golden in color.
